The Central Govt. Employees Consumer Cooperative Society Ltd., popularly known as Kendriya Bhandar, was set up in 1963 as a welfare project for the benefit of Central Govt. employees and public at large. It is functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Govt. of India and was registered with Delhi Registrar of Cooperative Societies. Subsequently, it was registered with the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of India as a Multi State Consumer Cooperative Society in September, 2000.
Govt. of Telangana has given recognition and appointed Kendriya Bhandar as Nodal Agency for Telangana state.
KENDRIYA BHANDAR ACCEPTS GENERAL GOODS SUPPLY IN GOVERNMENT SECTOR ONLY THROUGH ITS NETWORK OF STATE OFFICES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
The main objective of Kendriya Bhandar is to supply the requisite edible/non-edible commodities exclusively to all the Govt. departments under Central/State and its agencies/institutions all over the country with very competitive prices through its registered Manufacturers/Millers/Traders/Wholesalers with nominal service charges from the vendors. We ensure the quality and quantity as per the specifications prescribed by the user departments
Bulk Supplies includes Edible / Non-Edible Commodities viz.,
- All types of food grains, Nutritional Food Kits (ICDS) and essential commodities, edible oils, Pulses, Atta, Small Millets, other grocery items, Procurement of Agriculture Commodities on MSP, Stationery (all types of Stationery & Printing Items), Computers and Computer Consumables, All types of Furniture Items, Office Auto machines, CC TVs and CC Cameras, All types of Educational Kits, Cloth Items and Uniforms, Hospital Equipments/stationery, Furniture, Agricultural Implements & allied items etc., RO Plants, Hostel Materials like Trunk Boxes, Beds etc., and other Miscellaneous items.
